PPM Planner - Rail Maintenance (Essex)

We're recruiting a PPM Planner for a major rail maintenance contractor delivering planned works across London. You'll manage the full planning cycle for PPM activities, building schedules, coordinating labour and materials, and ensuring compliance with safety and contractual KPIs. Typical PPM works include Signage, platform tiling, fire door checks, general building inspections, safety markings, vegetation management, power-assisted doors, shutters and gates. Candidates with experience in these areas are desirable, however it is not essential.

This is a permanent role, based in the office full time, paying up to £45,000

Key Responsibilities

Plan and maintain weekly/monthly/annual PPM schedules using CMMS/ERP (Maximo, SAP, CAFM).
Sequence work efficiently around access windows and possession regimes.
Allocate labour, materials, equipment and issue work packs/permits.
Prepare job plans, task lists, RAMS and method statements.
Monitor progress and adjust plans as required.
Track KPIs including on-time delivery and backlog management.
Produce reports, maintain records and support audits.
Liaise with engineering, operations, commercial teams and clients.Skills & Experience

Experience as a Planner or Scheduler in rail, infrastructure or building services (TfL experience preferred).
Strong CMMS/CAFM skills and confident with Excel & Office 365.
Good understanding of PPM, asset management and maintenance standards.
Knowledge of RAMS, permits and H&S frameworks (CDM, LOLER, PUWER).
Desirable: possession planning, TfL standards, IOSH/NEBOSH/PTS
