CNC Turner – Programmer / Setter / Operator Salary and Working Hours

* Day shift with flexible start and Finish times

* Early finish every Friday

* Flexible approach to hours where possible

* Overtime available at enhanced rates

* Up to £18.50 per hour depending on experience

CNC Turner – Programmer / Setter / Operator The Role

You will be programming, setting and operating Mazak CNC lathes using Mazatrol controls at the machine, some training can be given if applicants have used other controls like Fanuc.

The work involves producing one-off and small batch precision components for a wide range of industries, requiring strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

* Programming at the machine using Mazatrol

* Full machine setup including tooling and offsets

* Producing precision one-off and small batch components

* Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings

* Inspecting work to tight tolerances

This is hands-on, varied subcontract machining — ideal for someone who enjoys technical challenge and autonomy.

CNC Turner – Programmer / Setter / Operator Candidate Requirements

* Proven experience programming, setting and operating CNC lathes

* Strong Mazatrol experience is advantageous

* Confident programming at the machine

* Experience producing one-offs and small batches

* Ability to work independently to tight tolerances

* Strong attention to detail and quality
