An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and creative Teacher of Music to join a successful and inclusive secondary school in Barking & Dagenham on a permanent basis, starting immediately.
This role is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers, making it ideal for someone looking to begin or continue their teaching career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and high-quality Music lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available depending on experience)
Inspire students to develop musical skills, creativity, and confidence
Contribute to extracurricular music activities such as clubs, ensembles, or performances
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively
Work collaboratively within the department and wider school community

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending qualification
