Are you a passionate food industry professional ready to take the next step in your technical career?

We're seeking a Technical Manager to lead the site's Technical and Hygiene functions - driving food safety, quality, and compliance to the highest standards. You'll be at the heart of a fast-paced manufacturing environment, leading your team to ensure every product leaving site is safe, legal, and exceptional.

What You'll Be Doing as the Technical Manager:

Lead site compliance across HACCP, TACCP, VACCP, and customer codes of practice - embedding a culture of food safety excellence.
Own technical governance, managing internal audits, non-conformances, root cause investigations, and corrective actions to meet BRCGS and retailer standards.
Drive hygiene performance, ensuring effective cleaning validation, environmental monitoring, and best-in-class standards across all operations.
Be the customer champion, representing the site during audits, visits, and technical reviews, ensuring confidence and collaboration with key retail partners.
Support innovation and new product launches, ensuring technical readiness and alignment with QAS, specifications, and process validations.
Inspire, coach, and develop a talented team across QA, Compliance, and Hygiene - empowering them to deliver exceptional technical performance.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Operations, and Commercial teams to proactively manage quality, food safety, and site improvement projects.
Champion continuous improvement, driving technical KPIs, sustainability initiatives, and digital system enhancements to elevate performance and efficiency

What You'll need as the Technical Manager:

Proven track record in a similar technical management role within food manufacturing in the UK
Able to demonstrate effective team management skills
Experience supplying products and communicating directly to major retailers
Full UK working rights - no visas available
