We are recruiting a full-time Learning Support Assistant to support high needs learners within a Further Education setting. The role focuses on helping students access learning, develop confidence, and progress in their studies.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small-group support for high needs learners.

*

Assist with understanding classwork, developing study skills, and encouraging independence.

*

Work alongside teaching staff to create an inclusive and accessible learning environment.

*

Monitor and record progress and support needs.

*

Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive learner engagement.

Essential Requirements:

*

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (mandatory).

*

Experience supporting learners with additional needs.

*

Strong communication, patience, and a learner-focused approach.

Desirable:

*

Experience in Further Education or SEND settings.
