Role Summary
The Bid Manager leads the end-to-end bidding process to secure projects, coordinating proposal preparation, managing costs, and ensuring timely submissions. They collaborate with Business Development Managers to develop winning strategies and assist with customer pre-qualifications.
Key Tasks
Align with DLL's bid/tender process.
Collaborate with Sales Leadership and BDMs to plan bid strategies.
Review client ITTs/RFPs and communicate requirements.
Lead bid kick-off meetings and manage resources and deadlines.
Handle customer RFIs/clarifications and coordinate with suppliers and partners.
Write tailored proposals and track budgets.
Work closely with PMO, Legal, Commercial, Technical, and Design teams.
Present bids internally and to clients as needed.
Oversee Sales to Projects handover for successful bids.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's in engineering, construction, or related field.
Knowledge of cost estimating, pricing, and procurement.
Strong risk management and teamwork skills.
Able to manage multiple deadlines and review technical drawings.
