Job Title: Mechanical Fitter – Hydraulics & Pneumatics

Location: Coventry

Mechanical Fitter Salary: £20-24.50 per hour

Mechanical Fitter Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter with expertise in hydraulics and pneumatics?

Mechanical Fitter Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, with a focus on hydraulic or pneumatic equipment.
• Perform fault-finding and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Assemble and test components to meet engineering specifications.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver projects on time and to high-quality standards.
• Adhere to health and safety standards while working on-site and in workshops.

What We Are Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter, ideally within a manufacturing, automotive, or engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic or pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and understand technical schematics and engineering drawings.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification (preferred).
