Job Title: Estimating Administrator
We are seeking a proactive and organised Estimating Administrator to support both the Estimating Department and the Construction Division. The role involves handling a range of administrative duties in departments with variable workloads.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to the Estimating and Construction teams.
*
Maintain contact with subcontractors, follow up on enquiries, and chase quotations.
*
Provide holiday cover for the Bid Development Coordinator (with support) and assist during peak tender periods.
*
Coordinate with the Assistant Estimator who will provide cover during your leave.
*
Manage and control tender documentation, including uploading and tracking submissions.
Requirements:
*
Ideally based within one hour of the office (typically within Surrey).
*
Some home working may be considered, depending on capability and experience.
*
Previous experience in a construction environment and familiarity with document control systems such as Procore (or similar) is preferred, though not essential — training will be provided.
*
Strong verbal communication skills, particularly over the phone.
*
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Desirable:
*
Experience in a similar administrative or estimating support role within the construction industry.
*
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Salary & Benefits:
*
Competitive salary of £30,000 to £42,000 per annum, depending on experience and ability.
*
Two-month probationary period.
*
4 weeks of annual leave, plus discretionary additional days at Christmas.
*
Company pension scheme available upon successful completion of probation.

Eligibility for the discretionary annual bonus scheme after one year of service
