Sea Freight Export Coordinator

Location: Bradford, UK

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Job Type: Full Time / Permanent

This role is ideal for someone with a strong operational background in seafreight exports, excellent knowledge of carrier processes, and a commercial mindset to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate end-to-end seafreight export shipments.
Make carrier bookings, complete VGM submissions, and handle export customs entries.
Prepare and issue Bills of Lading (B/L) instructions accurately and on time.
Handle cross trade shipments, liaising with overseas partners and agents.
Ensure compliance with international trade and export regulations.

Key Skills & Experience

Proven experience in export seafreight operations within a freight forwarding environment (essential).
Strong understanding of international shipping processes and documentation.
Experience with CargoWise is advantageous (but not essential).
Knowledge of export customs requirements and cross trade procedures.
Commercial awareness with the ability to support sales opportunities.
