You'll join our Commercial Team to spearhead vital vendor relationships and manage key suppliers, ensuring top-notch connectivity services for healthcare, public services, and household brands; and manage a team of 5.

Your mission:

Vendor Visions: Cisco, Extreme, Fortinet... sound familiar? You'll be the maestro behind the scenes, orchestrating relationships with our core vendors and distribution partners. It's all about aligning strategies for maximum impact and staying ahead of the curve.

Innovation: Ever thought of bringing new vendors into the mix? Your strategic eye will spot opportunities, gain buy-in from the top dogs, and seamlessly integrate changes across departments.

Managing Relationships: You'll be the conductor of a symphony of communication, ensuring our ties with telecom giants like BT Wholesale, Openreach, and Virgin Media remain harmonious. Open dialogue? Check. Mutually beneficial outcomes? Double check!

Market Maneuvering: Dive deep into customer profiles, buying trends, and market pressures alongside our sales and service teams. Your insights will drive our business targets and keep us ahead of the competition.

Value Extraction: From Service Now to Oracle Netsuite, you'll be the guru of extracting the best bang for our buck from our critical systems and infrastructure suppliers. Efficiency? You got it. Performance? You'll hold suppliers to the highest standards.

Team Player Extraordinaire: Collaboration is your middle name. You'll work hand in hand with teammates to boost commercial efficiency, drive continual improvement, and optimise procurement channels for maximum impact.

Your KPIs:

Maintain and improve supplier performance while driving efficiency through financial incentives.

Slash third-party overhead costs like a pro.

Ensure supplier SLA adherence stays above 95%, stepping in as the ultimate troubleshooter when needed.

Rub elbows with tier one suppliers weekly and serve up monthly commercial insights to the bigwigs.

What you'll bring to the table:

Substantial experience in similar roles within the telecoms/tech sectors.

Thrive in a fast-paced SME environment.

Professional qualifications preferred but not mandatory.

Ideally familiar with Cisco partner programs (or equivalent for Extreme, Fortinet, Forescout) and Ofcom legislation.
