Working hours: Monday – Friday, term time only
Unique School Solutions are working with a large school in Rotherham who are needing specialist SEND teachers to work in both their EYFS and Primary units, teaching students with Autism (ASD) and/or Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA). The role is to start ASAP, working on a temporary basis until the end of July 2026, with the potential of applying for the job permanently.

Essential requirements for the role:
* Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs. This needs to be within the last 2 years, and within a school setting.
* PGCE EYFS or Primary, and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* A good level of physical fitness. This is a demanding role.
* Patience, empathy and calmness.
* The ability to lead a large group of Teaching Assistants within your class.
* Personal care and Makaton experience is desirable but not essential.
