The Role – SEN Teacher

We are looking for a committed and nurturing SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Enfield. You will be responsible for a small class of 8 students with ASD, including pupils who are non-verbal. You’ll work closely with a team of experienced support staff and therapists to deliver a highly individualised, sensory-based curriculum. The ideal SEN Teacher will be calm, consistent, and skilled in using alternative communication methods such as PECS or Makaton. You will be expected to plan, differentiate, and deliver engaging lessons that support both academic and personal development while managing behaviour positively and proactively.
