Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS)

GSL Education are currently recruiting Cover Supervisor to work on a day-to-day supply basis across a variety of Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ schools in Leicestershire. This school is praised for its inclusive ethos and strong leadership, making it a fantastic environment for both students and staff.

Key Responsibilities of Cover Supervisor (CS):

Supervise lessons during staff absences, ensuring a calm and focused learning environment.
Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and maintain student engagement.
Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies.
Support students with their learning and respond to questions where appropriate.
Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and classroom activity.
Assist with classroom organisation and resource preparation.
Requirements of Cover Supervisor (CS):

Previous experience in a school or educational setting is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Confidence in managing groups of students independently.
Ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals passionate about education.
Organised, reliable, and adaptable.

To work with GSL Education as a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will need:

The right to work in the UK.
An up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years.
An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
