Job Title: Project Handover Coordinator

Location: Portsmouth (HM Naval Base)

Service Area: O&M, Service Delivery

Hours of Work: 37 Per week

What You’ll be doing:

With a busy project delivery programme ahead of us, we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Through Life Support Coordinator to join our Service Delivery Team to support the successful delivery of projects and their smooth transition into service.

Working with the Project Handover Manager, the successful applicant will play a key role in ensuring that Service Delivery support the process for the delivery of projects through design, construction and handover phases ensuring that all Service Delivery stakeholders are appropriately engaged throughout the delivery of the project and have access to all information / resources necessary to operate and maintain new assets once they enter service. You’ll also play a key role in the management and oversight of any defect remedial works through the project defect liability period.

Supporting of the smooth transition of projects from the construction phase through handover into service, you’ll ensure Service Delivery have available details of asset warrantees together with contact details for dealing with warrantee issues and, ensure that any additions or reductions in the cost of operating / maintaining new assets or through the removal of assets is captured and advised to the KBS Commercial Team

You’ll Have:

Experience of working in an engineering environment, have an insight or knowledge of managing the operation / maintenance of buildings in an industrial environment and be numerate and comfortable in preparing cost information.

With a willingness to obtain recognised H&S Health and Safety qualification e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH or SMSTS, you’ll also be competent in using the Microsoft suite of computer programs – Outlook, Word, and Excel.
