Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sheet Metal Laser Machine Operator to join our client based in Marlow. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and nesting sheet metal components using Lantek CAD/CAM systems and possess a strong understanding of laser cutting.

Key Responsibilities:

* CAD/CAM Programming: Develop and nest sheet metal components using Lantek CAD/CAM software, ensuring optimal material utilization.

* Laser Machine Operation: Independently operate and maintain a Prima Platino laser cutting machine, adjusting settings for maximum precision and efficiency.

* Optimize cutting parameters, material interaction, and gas usage.

* Quality Control: Ensure precision cutting, minimize material waste, and troubleshoot issues to maintain high manufacturing standards.

* Process Improvement: Identify ways to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and machine performance to support production goals.

Candidate Requirements:

* Proven experience in sheet metal development and nesting using Lantek CAD/CAM systems.

* Expertise in operating a Prima Platino laser cutting machine would be an advantage but not essential as experience with similar would be considered

* Knowledge of cutting parameters, beam dynamics, and material properties in laser cutting.

* Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and adjust settings for optimal performance.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision engineering.
