White Label is working with a well-established and growing company in the structural and steelwork or sheet metal, fabrication sector. The business designs, fabricates, and installs bespoke steel solutions for clients across the commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. With over 20 years of industry experience, they are known for their quality craftsmanship, precision, and dependable project delivery.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, they are now seeking a CAD Designer or CAD Technician to join their design team in Manchester.

?️ The Role

You’ll be responsible for producing detailed 2D CAD drawings to support fabrication and installation work. This is a collaborative role working closely with the workshop, project managers, and external clients to ensure accurate and buildable designs.

? Key Responsibilities

Produce high-quality 2D CAD drawings for manufacturing and site installation

*

Interpret architectural and structural drawings into practical design solutions

*

Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders

*

Carry out site surveys and gather required measurements

*

Revise drawings based on feedback or site modifications

*

Maintain project documentation and meet tight deadlines

✅ Requirements

*

Minimum 2 years’ experience using AutoCAD 2D in a fabrication, steelwork, or construction-related environment

*

Experience with architectural or structural steel is highly desirable

*

Ability to read and interpret technical and construction drawings

*

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

*

Able to work independently and manage multiple projects

*

Experience with 3D CAD or Tekla Structures would be a bonus
