Key Responsibilities

Teach History across KS3–KS5, including preparation for GCSE and A-Level assessments

Inspire pupils through engaging lessons that promote critical thinking, historical analysis, and academic debate
*
Contribute to a thriving department with a strong tradition of extracurricular enrichment
*
Support whole-school events, including history-themed activities, trips, and competitions
*
Monitor and assess student progress, providing effective feedback and intervention as required
Candidate Profile
*
A degree in History or a related subject
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching History across key stages, ideally up to A-Level
*
A passion for academic challenge and a commitment to promoting historical literacy
*
Strong classroom management and communication skills
*
Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school, including co-curricular activities
