Teaching Assistant - Year 1 - Enfield Primary School - September Start

A friendly and supportive primary school in Enfield is currently seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join their Year 1 team. This is a general classroom role with some additional SEN support responsibilities, offering a great opportunity to be part of a well-resourced and nurturing environment.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons

Work with small groups and individual pupils

Offer 1:1 support to children with mild to moderate SEN

Help with behaviour management and classroom routines

Contribute to the social and emotional development of pupils

The successful Teaching Assistant will:

Have experience working in KS1, ideally Year 1

Be confident supporting pupils with additional needs

Have excellent communication and teamwork skills

Be available for trial days this term

This is a full-time Teaching Assistant position, Monday to Friday, with a September 2025 start date and the potential to become permanent.
