Metalis Engineering Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Ladle Operative to join a specialist manufacturer in Sheffield.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepare, inspect, and maintain ladles, including refractory repairs and pre-heating
Safely transfer and pour molten metal in line with production specifications
Operate overhead cranes to manoeuvre ladles and associated equipment
Monitor metal temperatures and remove slag/impurities as required
Carry out pre-use equipment checks and maintain accurate documentation
Adhere strictly to health, safety, and PPE requirements while meeting production target

The Successful Candidate MUST:

Have atleast 2 years experienced Operating, Maintaining and repairing their own ladles

Have Overhead Crane experience

Shifts & Salary:

£13.08ph+
Days regular, Monday - Friday
Monthly bonus scheme (qualification period)
Quarterly profit share scheme (qualification period)
Advancement and training given to the right individual
