Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Pay: £25-£27 per hour (Perm salary: £40,000 - £45,000)
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled Site Supervisor with an electrical background to oversee operations on a key static site in the Ipswich IP14 area. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity offering a long-term career path with excellent pay.
You'll be responsible for supervising a small team of two fabric engineers as well as managing contractors on-site. The ideal candidate will be proactive, safety-conscious, and capable of leading by example in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities of a Site Supervisor:

Supervise and coordinate all on-site electrical works in accordance with project plans.

Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical regulations and health & safety standards.

Manage, support, and guide electricians and subcontractors to deliver high-quality work.
*
Conduct inspections and quality checks of electrical systems.
*
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other trades for efficient site operations.
*
Maintain thorough site documentation, including diaries, progress reports, and testing records.
*
Lead site inductions and toolbox talks, promoting a culture of safety.
*
Quickly troubleshoot and resolve technical electrical issues.
*
Ensure all works meet client expectations and industry standards.
About You, as the Site Supervisor:

Qualifications:
*
NVQ Level 3
*
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
*
IOSH or NEBOSH certification (ESSENTIAL)
*
Experience:
*
Previous experience in a supervisory, lead engineer or team leader role
*
Strong electrical background (desirable)
*
Hands-on knowledge of H&S standards
*
Experience as an Electrical lead, Engineering lead, Senior Electrical engineer etc
