Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead the development of new door designs, features, and hardware to enhance product offerings.
Conduct research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and regulatory changes influencing product innovation.
Drive value-engineering initiatives to optimise manufacturing efficiency and profitability while maintaining product function and quality.
Address product development needs arising from customer complaints, procurement requirements, or quality concerns.
Produce detailed 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks to support design and manufacturing processes.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in product development, engineering design, or innovation within a manufacturing environment.
Experience working with SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering principles.
Experience in value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives is desirable.
