Job Description
Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of an established Accountancy Firm in Oxfordshire for a Trainee Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to kickstart a career in accountancy, gaining hands-on experience from day one while working towards a fully funded ACA qualification. You’ll be supported by a friendly and experienced team, work with real clients early in your career, and follow a clear development pathway across accounts, audit, or tax.

Your ACA journey typically begins 6–12 months after joining and takes around 36 months, with structured study support and paid study leave throughout.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of client accounts.
Support the preparation of Personal Tax and VAT returns.
Liaise with clients at an early stage, building professional communication skills.
Begin developing an understanding of the audit cycle.
Combine practical, on-the-job learning with exam success.
Work collaboratively across teams and contribute to projects, charity initiatives, and firm events.Candidate Criteria
Minimum A-levels or equivalent.
Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Willingness to work outside normal hours on occasion.
Enthusiastic about developing a long-term career in accountancy.
