A thriving mainstream secondary school in Poole is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Health & Social Care Teacher to join their team either immediately or from January. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and supporting students to achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across KS4 and KS5 Health & Social Care, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting the wider life of the school. The school is committed to providing a welcoming and collaborative working environment, where staff are valued and encouraged to grow professionally.
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience teaching Health & Social Care at secondary level
Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a commitment to raising attainment
Build positive relationships with students and inspire a love of learning
Be willing to contribute to the wider school community
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or a confident ECT looking to develop their practice within a supportive and forward-thinking school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
