We are currently seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our team on a day shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inspection using hand tools such as micrometers and verniers, and be confident in handling associated documentation including FAIRs and PPAPs. Key Responsibilities:

Perform in-process and final inspection of precision components.

Use a variety of measuring equipment, including micrometers, verniers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
*
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
*
Complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in accordance with AS9102 standards.
*
Prepare and compile PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation.
*
Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records and documentation.
*
Support internal and external audits as required.
*
Report and document non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis.
*
Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
Requirements:
*
Proven experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
*
Proficient in using precision measurement tools (micrometers, verniers, gauges, etc.).
*
Good understanding of FAIRs and PPAP requirements.
*
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
*
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
*
Good written and verbal communication skills.
*
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:

Experience working to ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 standards.
*
Background in aerospace, automotive, or precision engineering sectors
