Key aspects of your role as a Special Educational Needs Teacher in Huddersfield will include :

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven experience working in a special school or specialist SEN provision
Identifying needs, assessing levels of ability and planning sessions which will meet the requirements of the children and develop their learning.
Effectively delivering the personalised curriculum ensuring that the individual needs and interests of the children in the setting are met and supporting other team members to do this.
Supporting the children throughout the day in order to develop independence, facilitate participation and learning, and develop physical and communication skills.
Contributing towards designing and managing a varied and balanced curriculum to meet the needs of every student within the resources available, in accordance with the mission and ethos of the school.
