Job Overview
We are looking for a diligent and security-cleared Cleaner to join our team on a high-security nuclear construction project. The role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant working environment across welfare areas, offices, and designated site zones. Due to the nature of the site, applicants must hold a valid CSCS card, BPSS clearance, and Nuclear Security Clearance (or be eligible to obtain it).
Key Responsibilities

Carry out cleaning of welfare areas, offices, changing rooms, and sanitary facilities to a high standard.

Maintain hygiene across all site areas in accordance with nuclear site protocols and safety regulations.
*
Manage waste collection, segregation, and disposal in line with environmental and site compliance standards.
*
Replenish consumables (soap, sanitiser, paper products, etc.) and report any stock shortages.
*
Support site operations by maintaining safe access routes and ensuring cleaning activities do not interfere with construction works.
*
Follow strict health, safety, and radiological control procedures at all times.
*
Maintain confidentiality and comply with all security and access control measures.
*
Report any maintenance or safety issues to the site management team promptly.
Requirements
*
Valid CSCS Card – essential.
*
BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) clearance – essential.
*
Nuclear Security Clearance (SC or CTC) – required or ability to obtain prior to starting.
*
Proven experience as a cleaner in a construction, industrial, or nuclear environment.
*
Understanding of site safety procedures and contamination control (training provided if required).
*
High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and commitment to maintaining safety and cleanliness.
*
Must be reliable, trustworthy, and able to work under supervision or independently.
Additional Information

All candidates must pass a full security vetting and medical assessment prior to site access.

Full PPE and relevant training will be provided.
