Learning Support Assistant - Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. - Empower Students to success!

A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join their secondary support team, dedicated to aiding students with a variety of educational needs.

You will be working under the guidance of the SENCO and teaching staff, providing targeted, one-to-one and group support, both in and out of the classroom.

What You'll Do:

Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs
Help students engage with learning and build independence
Support teaching staff with planning, assessment, and behaviour management
Promote positive peer interaction and inclusion
Supervise students during break-times and school trips/events

Desirable Skills & Experience:

Experience working with young people
Knowledge of SEN strategies
Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-focused approach
Qualifications in English and Maths (preferred)
Patience, resilience, and adaptability
