Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in High Peak / Derbyshire to recruit a dedicated and resilient Teacher of Maths to join their team.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a Maths specialist who is passionate about making a real difference for young people who require an alternative approach to education. The school supports students with a range of social, emotional and behavioural needs, offering small class sizes and a strong focus on engagement, consistency and positive relationships.

The role:

Teaching Maths across KS3 and/or KS4

Planning and delivering creative, accessible lessons

Supporting pupils to re-engage with learning and build confidence

Working closely with a supportive multi-disciplinary team

The ideal candidate will:

Hold QTS/QTLS (or equivalent)

Have experience teaching Maths (PRU, SEND or SEMH experience is desirable but not essential)

Be patient, adaptable and committed to inclusive education

Have strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
