MIG Welder

Location: Sandy, Bedfordshire
Salary: £34,320 to £37,500 a year
Full-time | Permanent
Day shift: Monday to Thursday 07:00-17:00, Friday 08:00-12:00

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join our clien'ts engineering team in Bedfordshire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MIG welding and fabrication of heavy structural steel, with the ability to read and understand detailed engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform MIG welding and fabrication on mild and stainless steel
Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce accurate welds
Operate fabrication tools and machinery efficiently
Support additional production tasks such as machining or quality checks
Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies

Requirements:

3-5 years experience in MIG Welding (essential)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (essential)
Strong Fabrication skills (advantageous)
CSCS card (advantageous)
High attention to detail and quality
