Economics Teacher – Outstanding School – Surrey

An Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary school in Surrey requires a knowledgeable and dedicated Economics Teacher to join their thriving department. This is a full-time, permanent position, primarily teaching Key Stages 4 and 5. The school fosters critical thinking and encourages students to engage with contemporary economic issues.

Responsibilities:

The successful Economics Teacher will plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that connect economic theory to real-world applications. You will develop students' understanding of core principles, prepare them for success in Economics examinations (GCSE and A-Level), and foster critical thinking and analytical skills. Assessing student progress, providing insightful feedback, and contributing to the Economics curriculum are key responsibilities for this Economics Teacher role.

Requirements:

Candidates must be a qualified Economics Teacher (QTS) with a degree in Economics or a closely related field. Proven experience teaching Economics at the secondary level (Key Stages 4 and 5) is essential. Strong subject knowledge, a passion for economics, and excellent communication and classroom management skills are required. We are looking for an inspiring Economics Teacher.
