The Opportunity:

A vibrant primary school in Tower Hamlets is looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Year 3 Teacher for September 2025. Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver inspiring, differentiated lessons that engage and challenge Year 3 students, in line with the National Curriculum.

Use a variety of assessment techniques to monitor progress and provide timely, constructive feedback to students and parents.

*

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages high standards of behaviour, academic achievement, and personal development.

*

Work closely with colleagues to ensure consistency and high standards across the curriculum, and contribute to the development of school-wide initiatives.

*

Build strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring effective communication regarding students’ progress and school activities.

*

Actively participate in the wider life of the school, including school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.

Person Specification:

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

*

Strong understanding of the Year 3 curriculum, with the ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons.

*

Experience using assessment data to monitor and track pupil progress, and adapting teaching methods accordingly.

*

Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive and well-organised learning environment.

*

Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

*

A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.
