A vibrant, inclusive one-form-entry primary school in the heart of Islington is seeking a dedicated KS1 Class Teacher to join their team on a 1-year fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for a confident teacher on the Main Pay Scale (M3–M5) who thrives in a nurturing environment with a strong focus on creativity, inclusion, and high-quality teaching and learning.

The Role:

Teach a well-behaved, eager KS1 class within a supportive year group team.

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

Track progress carefully to ensure all learners make strong progress.

Foster excellent relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.

Contribute positively to the wider school community.

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Is an experienced KS1 practitioner with recent UK classroom experience.

Is on the M3–M5 range of the Main Pay Scale.

Has a passion for delivering creative, inclusive, and engaging lessons.

Is committed to building strong relationships with pupils and families.

Brings energy, organisation, and a reflective approach to their teaching practice.
