Teaching Assistant – Year 1 Whole Class Support

Location: Weoley Castle

Start Date: September 2025 
Hours: Full-time | Term-Time Only - 8.30am - 3.30pm 
Salary: £95-£100 per day 

Are you ready to be the extra pair of hands that makes all the difference? We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a dynamic and fun-filled Year 1 classroom.

Your role will include:

Assisting the class teacher in delivering lessons

Supporting children with varying levels of ability

Helping with phonics, group tasks, and one-on-one learning

Creating a warm, engaging classroom environment

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience with KS1 or is eager to learn

Is organised, positive, and confident supporting young learners

Enjoys being part of a close-knit teaching team

Wants to grow and develop in a supportive school community

Anyone applying for this role MUST have UK School experience, X2 references & hold a full enhanced child DBS or willing to apply for one.
