1st Line IT Support Technician
Location: Broxbourne (Fully Office-Based)
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday
A growing IT services provider is seeking a proactive and customer-focused 1st Line IT Support Technician to join their dedicated team based in Broxbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for technology and problem-solving to build their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Working as part of a busy service desk, the successful candidate will be the first point of contact for multiple clients, handling technical queries and issues via a ticketing system. They will provide timely and effective support, escalating more complex issues to the 2nd Line team when required.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver 1st line technical support to a range of clients, both remotely and in person
Accurately log and manage support tickets using the internal system
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner
Ensure clear communication and updates to end users
Escalate unresolved or complex issues in line with company procedures
Contribute to documentation and process improvements
Requirements:
Previous experience in a 1st line IT support or helpdesk role
Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently under pressure
A professional and customer-centric approach to support
