Job Title: Production Planner
Temp to Perm
Salary: £30-34k per annum
Join a fast paced, innovative electronics company driving the future of technology. We're looking for a Production Planner with a solid background in electronics manufacturing to help optimise production schedules, ensure material availability, and keep projects running smoothly and on time.
Key responsibilities as a Production Planner:
Develop and manage detailed production schedules aligned with customer demand, material availability, and manufacturing capacity
Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure timely delivery of components and finished goods
Monitor and adjust plans as needed due to material shortages, equipment issues, or design changes
Analyse production data and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement
Support new product introductions and engineering change implementations from a planning perspective
Maintain accurate ERP/MRP system data and generate reports on production status
The successful Production Planner will ideally have the below experience:
Proven experience as a Production Planner in the electronics industry (PCB assembly, SMT, or similar environments preferred)
Strong knowledge of materials planning, inventory control, and lean manufacturing principles
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
Relevant qualifications in supply chain, production, or engineering (desirable)
