About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Poole. In this role, you will build, test, and complete aerospace tooling and mechanical assemblies to the highest standards. If you have a background as a Toolmaker or Manual Machinist, or experience with hydraulics and precision engineering, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing:

Assemble and load test tooling and devices to exacting standards

Interpret and work from technical manufacturing and assembly drawings

Ensure all operations are completed safely, accurately, and on time

Use hand tools, measuring equipment, and basic computer systems

Collaborate closely with your team and supervisor to resolve issues

Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workspace

What We're Looking For:

3+ years' experience in a mechanical/engineering environment (essential)

Able to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings (essential)

Background in toolmaking or manual machining (preferred)

Basic understanding of hydraulic systems (desirable)

Team player with attention to detail and a proactive attitude

Forklift licence is a plus
