Junior Service Technician / Engineer
Location: Rushden-based, with UK-wide travel

Duties
This will eventually move to a field-based position supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of specialist machinery across the UK. You’ll be working with a team of experienced engineers to learn the ropes, gaining invaluable exposure across electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
Assisting in the repair and maintenance of advanced manufacturing machinery
Shadowing experienced service engineers during site visits and installations
Developing diagnostic and fault-finding skills across electrical and hydraulic systems
Supporting customers and learning how to deliver outstanding technical service
Managing parts and tooling, with support from a dedicated service desk
Attending college (where applicable) to complete your formal qualificationsThe Candidate
Is completing or has recently completed a Level 3 qualification in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Maintenance, etc.)
Has a genuine interest in engineering and fixing things
Is keen to learn and grow within a structured, supportive environment
Enjoys a mix of workshop-based and hands-on field work
Is confident enough to work with customers once trained
Has a full UK driving lisence (or is working towards it)
Can travel across the UK and is open to occasional overnight stays
