Project Quantity Surveyor – Defence & Nuclear Projects Location: Sheffield | Full-time

SCX is a UK-based engineering firm delivering precision mechanical handling systems across Defence, Aerospace, Nuclear, and Infrastructure. We’re looking for a Project Quantity Surveyor to help drive commercial success across some of the UK’s most complex and high-value engineering projects.

? What You’ll Do

Manage project budgets, track costs, and forecast spend

*

Administer contracts (NEC, JCT, bespoke), variations, and compliance

*

Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering

*

Collaborate with project managers and engineers to optimise delivery

*

Provide commercial insight, risk management, and stakeholder reporting

? What You’ll Bring

*

Degree in Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or Engineering

*

Strong analytical and commercial skills

*

Experience with NEC, JCT, and bespoke contracts

*

Knowledge of construction/engineering practices and industry standards

*

Proficiency in relevant software and project tools

*

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
