We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join one of our divisions. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting operational decision-making. You will work closely with depot managers, operations teams, and central finance to deliver timely and insightful financial information.

Description

Maintain and update weekly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and supporting documentation.
Complete daily reporting on revenue, costs, and volumes.
Prepare monthly management accounts for depots and regions.
Analyse variances against budget and prior periods, highlighting key issues.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and prepare accruals/prepayments.
Support depot managers in understanding financial reports and KPIs.
Participate in ad-hoc financial projects and process improvements.
Travel to depots as needed to support training and financial reviews.Profile

Part-qualified accountant
Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Experience in logistics, transport, or a similar operational environment is desirable.Job Offer
