Our client, is currently seeking a Senior CAD Technician to join their team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with the delivery of busway infrastructure, LTN 1/20 cycle measures, active travel, signal junctions, roundabouts, and environmental enhancements.
Producing drawings for studies, consultations, and contract documents with minimal direction.
Working on projects from outline feasibility through to main design and implementation, ensuring outputs meet the latest standards and planning requirements.
Detailing highways and utility 2D AutoCAD, including keys signs, key lines, and tracking.

Job Requirements:

Experience in highways and utility 2D AutoCAD detailing.
Ability to produce drawings for studies, consultations, and contract documents independently.
Desirable skills include BIM, producing drawings for non-highway sectors such as landscaping, street lighting, and structures.
Experience with 3D design software such as MX or Civil 3D is advantageous.
Driving licence required (category B).

Additional Information:

Contract role with up to 37 hours per week.
Hybrid working arrangements: 2 days per week in the office.
Planned start date: 09-03-2026 (subject to change).
No DBS required for this role.
