Job Title: Experienced Financial Controller

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to take full ownership of the finance function in a stand-alone capacity. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in an autonomous role and enjoys being the go-to person for all financial matters.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage all aspects of the finance function, including month-end and year-end reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

* Prepare accurate management accounts, financial statements, and cash flow reports.

* Oversee accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and VAT returns.

* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and liaise with external auditors.

* Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth and decision-making.

* Implement and maintain robust financial controls and processes.

About You

* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent with proven experience in a similar stand-alone role.

* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.

* Proficient in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.

* Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders.
