Covering Newport & Torfaen Refuges

£29,580-£30,090 (FTE)

Moxie People are supporting a respected Welsh charity to recruit an experienced Refuge Service Coordinator.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a meaningful leadership role supporting individuals affected by domestic abuse, sexual violence and trauma.

The Role

You will oversee day-to-day operations of refuge services, leading a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed and person-led support.

Line managing staff and providing case direction
Overseeing safeguarding, risk management and referrals
Attending MARAC and multi-agency meetings
Ensuring data accuracy, audits and compliance
Supporting service quality, improvement and reporting
Helping maintain safe and well-run refuge environments

This role requires travel - driving licence, car and business insurance are essential.

About You

You'll bring:

Experience supporting vulnerable people in a housing or refuge setting
Strong safeguarding and risk assessment knowledge
Confident team leadership and organisational skills
A compassionate, trauma-informed and empowering approach
A DBS ON THE UPDATE SERVICE OR WITHIN THE LAST MONTH IS ESSENTIAL
