Senior Ecologist

Belfast £32,000-£42,000

A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is looking for a Senior Ecologist to join their Belfast office on a permanent basis (flexible and hybrid working opportunities available). You would be joining a respected ecology team delivering sustainable, nature-based solutions across a wide range of UK and Irish projects. Flexible location options and hybrid working are available.

Responsibilities:

Lead the preparation of high-quality ecological reports, including PEAs, EcIAs, HRAs, and BNG Assessments.
Manage and deliver ecological inputs across all project stages, including client engagement and resource planning.
Conduct habitat and protected species surveys, contributing to data analysis and GIS outputs.Requirements:

Degree in Ecology, Zoology, Biology, or a related field; postgraduate qualification preferred.
Professional membership (e.g. CIEEM) and experience in ecological consultancy or planning.
Knowledge of UK and Irish ecological legislation, with survey licences and GIS skills as a strong advantage.Benefits include:
