Job Title: Estimator - Fit Out / Construction
Location: Manchester
Salary: Up to £70,000 + Package (DOE)

The Opportunity

We are working with a growing and well-established contractor in Manchester who is looking to appoint an experienced Estimator with a strong background in fit out and construction.

This is a key hire for the business as they continue to secure new projects across the region. They are actively reviewing CVs and are prepared to offer up to £70,000 + package for the right individual.

The Role

As Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in the pre-construction team, preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a range of fit out and refurbishment projects.

You will be commercially aware, detail-focused, and confident managing the full tender process from initial enquiry through to final submission.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
Reviewing drawings, specifications, and contract documentation
Producing take-offs and accurate quantifications
Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations
Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
Supporting negotiations and client meetings
Assisting with handover to delivery teamsWhat We're Looking For

Proven experience as an Estimator within fit out or construction
Strong understanding of refurbishment and interior projects
Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and organisational skills
