An ambitious and high-achieving secondary school in Hackney is seeking to appoint a talented and committed Science Teacher to join their successful department from September on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner to teach Science across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available for a suitably experienced candidate), with an additional TLR2b responsibility for a curriculum or leadership area within the department.
The Role:
Teach engaging and challenging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Deliver strong outcomes in Biology, Chemistry or Physics (specialism welcomed)
Lead on an agreed area of responsibility (TLR2b), such as KS4 coordination, curriculum development, assessment, or STEM enrichment
Contribute to departmental improvement and whole-school initiatives

The school is looking for:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A strong degree in a science discipline
