About the Role:

We are seeking an Experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our client’s team in the Reading area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabricating and assembling sheet metal products and structures used in HVAC systems, ductwork, and custom metal projects. The role requires precision, technical skill, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret shop drawings, and technical specifications.

Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery.

*

Fabricate and assemble ductwork, fittings, and other metal components to precise tolerances.

*

Perform welding, and riveting as required.

*

Inspect assemblies for accuracy, alignment, and quality standards.

Requirements:

Over 5 years experience

*

Able to use a guillotine

*

Able to use a break press and folding machine

*

Manual dexterity and physical stamina
