Our well-established Independent Estate Agency based in Buckhurst Hill IG9 are looking for an experienced Property Manager to join their successful Lettings and Property Management department.

The successful applicant will be responsible for a portfolio of properties therefore, they must be able to manage their own workload, keep on top of any issues and prioritise jobs as necessary. (Inspections are outsourced so no vehicle needed.)

Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:

* Day to day running of the managed portfolio

* Arrange quotes and works and liaising between all parties

* Carrying out Inspections

* Rent reconciliation

* Basic property management accounts (invoicing and payments etc)

* Knowledge of lettings legislation

* Knowledge in serving legal notices

* Handling check out reports and deposits disputes

* Arranging renewal safety certificates

* Arranging renewal tenancy agreements

* Work closely with trainee property manager to ensure the everyday running of the department runs smoothly

* Maintaining policies and procedures in accordance with company policies

* Ensuring compliance

* Referring business across departments to maximise business opportunities

* Serving section notices 21 & 8

The Successful Applicant will need to possess the following skills:

* Must have 2 years’ experience as a Property Manager

* The candidates must have intermediate computer literacy

* Experience of lettings/property management software packages

* Professional ARLA accreditation would be seen strong advantage but essential

* Be able to manage their own workload

* Full valid driving license is essential

The hours will be:

Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm

Salary range will be:

between £35,000pa to £38,000pa depending on experience 28 days holiday including bank holidays
