Band 5 Locum Pharmacy Technician

Location: Aintree, Liverpool
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (flexible working considered)

Overview

Key Responsibilities

* Dispense and supply medicines safely in line with legal and professional standards.

* Support pharmacists in delivering high-quality clinical and technical services.

* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with NHS and GPhC standards.

* Manage stock control, ordering, and safe storage of medicines.

* Provide advice to patients and healthcare professionals on medication use.

* Contribute to audits, service improvements, and staff training initiatives.

Requirements

* Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Pharmacy Technician.

* Previous NHS experience (hospital or primary care preferred).

* NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent).

* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
