Fabricator Welder - Structural Steelwork
Location: Hull
Salary: starting at £14 per hour, with overtime opportunities

Are you a skilled Fabricator Welder with experience in structural steelwork and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment? Join a small, friendly, and supportive team where your craftsmanship and attention to detail will be highly valued.

Our client is a growing company working on a variety of bespoke and commercial steel fabrication projects, including staircases, mezzanine, platforms, and structural frameworks. This role offers a mix of workshop-based fabrication and welding, with occasional on-site installations.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabrication and welding of mild steel structures from engineering drawings
MIG welding to a high standard (TIG experience beneficial)
Assembly and installation of staircases and associated structural steelwork
Operating fabrication tools and machinery (e.g., press brake, guillotine, grinders)
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment using a clean-as-you-go policy
Reading and interpreting technical drawings accurately
Working to tight tolerances and project deadlinesEssential Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in a similar fabrication and welding role
Strong background in structural steel, staircases, and balustrades
Excellent MIG welding skills
Ability to work independently from technical drawings
High standards of cleanliness, safety, and workmanship
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team playerDesirable:

Forklift licence
CSCS Card
Experience with stainless steel or aluminiumWhat We Offer:
