KS2 Class Teacher (Year 5) – Permanent, Full-Time – Hammersmith

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Year 5 Class Teacher to join our welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Hammersmith on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2025.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and passionate teacher to make a real impact in Year 5 as pupils prepare for the challenges of upper KS2 and the transition to Year 6.

Working Pattern: Full-Time

Key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners

Creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom culture

*

Using assessment effectively to drive progress and attainment

*

Working closely with colleagues to ensure consistent, impactful teaching

*

Building strong relationships with pupils, families, and staff

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

Qualified – Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

*

Confident in Upper KS2 – Ideally with experience or strong interest in teaching Year 5

*

Reflective and enthusiastic – Eager to grow and improve practice

*

Creative and committed – Brings fresh ideas and a love for learning

*

A strong communicator – Values collaboration and positive relationships
